"Clay Pots"
Oil on linen board 2009
11"x10"
This is a painting using five of the six Pre-Columbian pots in my collection. They are about 600 years old. The brown one is around 1000 years old. (So I'm told)

"Blue Bottle and Orange Vase"

8x8 on a wrapped canvas

These items were painted actual size and fit very nicely on this small canvas size.
A wrapped canvas means that the canvas is wrapped around the sides 1 1/2" deep so no frame is needed.

I enjoyed painting these bright colors.

"Gracie and Sammy" Oil Painting by Ronna Morse 2009
I've been wanting to paint our two dogs together for a while now and finally finished it.
I took this picture of them last winter after driving all over the area looking for a spot of snow.
The size is 16"x24"

I love the blue enamel of this silver bowl. The background cloth is actually a greenish color but is showing up blue.

12x16 on oil primed linen canvas
While in Grenada this dog just plopped down on the beach and didn't seem to mind having his picture taken.

I just had to paint this vase again.

20x20 on gessoed board
I love this vintage orange vase. It was fun to paint. I added some Pussy willow from my yard to add softness.

Our forum's shoe painting challenge. I chose to paint my husband's old cowboy boots.

12x15 on oil primed linen board
This is my Chihuahua Sammy. He loves that little green ball.

12x18 on oil primed linen board
I found this old embroidered cloth at the flea market and thought it would be interesting to paint.

8x10 on oil primed linen board

This was also painted on a mirror. The peppers didn't want to hang around long so I had to work from a photo and the set up.

9x12 on oil primed linen board

This was fun but yet crazy to paint. I placed the items on a mirror and used mineral oil for the water.
