Silver Teapot 12x16 OilI found this beautiful velvet ribbon at the fleamarket and kept trying to figure a way to incorporate it into a painting. I had this old teapot(or is it a coffeepot) and tried many different set-ups. I also wanted to have my five colors of red, yellow, blue, black and white. I decided to place a pair of scissors out of view but still show the reflection. That gave me a bit of yellow and I like the interest it gives.
