"Stork"

I was able to get a great photo of this stork while at the zoo. Of course she wasn't in a nest at the zoo.  But after researching storks I decided to place her in one.  This was so much fun to paint.  What did I learn from painting this?  I learned that you don't have to paint individual feathers.  Just indicate them with value changes.

I painted these from pictures I took while on our drive to Maine last September.  It was a foggy Saturday morning.  I enjoyed painting these.

"White Pitcher" and "Brown Teapot" 10x10 oil.

These were painted for a painting challenge.  The brown teapot was truly a challenge.

This is a portrait of my granddaughter Charlotte. If I can get a good photo of her twin sister Jessica then I would like to paint her next.

"Sunflowers In A Black Vase"

I wanted to paint something fun so I decided to paint these sunflowers in an 'I don't care what happens' mood.  I left the vase very simple not giving any detail to it.  I'm not sure how I feel about it but I had fun and I love Sunflowers.

"Two Brushes"

I've been wanting to paint these brushes for some time now but could never come up with a set-up until now. I like the way this one came out.
